CalendarDatePicker returns a datetime, not a date

Reported by: grover Owned by: anonymous
Priority: normal Milestone: 1.x
Component: TG Widgets Version: 1.0b1
Severity: normal Keywords:

returns a datetime with hour, minute, seconds equal to 0. Comparing this to the equivalent date returns False.

I think using a DateConverter? on line 53 of big_widgets.py would fix this? and then DateTimeConverter? only for CalendarDateTimePicker?.

  • Milestone set to 1.1

this change will make the widget more general but it needs a big warning since it will break some code.

  • Milestone changed from 1.1 to __unclassified__

Batch moved into unclassified from 1.1 to properly track progress on the later

Cruft ticket. The DateTimeConverter? in turbogears.validators is limited, but it is easy to write your own validators. Closing ticket as wontfix.
