It seems like, at least, both ajax.js and Mochikit 1.3.1 need to be patched to fix this issue

this will require a bump in mockikit therefore is not something that should go out on a a bugfix release.

and it also depends on the mochikit release to be made. Now I suggest in the meantime posting a patch here so people can apply it locally. and we'll redirect inqueries here

Seems like there is no need to upgrade mochikit, under the latest release(TG 1.0.2.2): patching only ajax.js (two lines) works for me
