Upload binary egg for PyProtocols r2302 for Mac OS X 10.5

Reported by: Chris Arndt Owned by: anonymous
Priority: high Milestone: 1.0.x bugfix
Component: Installation Version:
Severity: normal Keywords: eggs

Currently Xcode/Gcc? is needed to install TurboGears on Mac OS X 10.5 because there is no matching binary egg for PyProtocols r2302 available and so the egg must be compiled on the installation system.

This should not be necessary and can be fixed by uploading an appropriate binary egg to turbogears.org. Somebody with access to a Mac OS X Leopard systems needs to compile the egg and check it in to source:site_resources/eggs.

The site administrator then needs to update the website.

As of TurboGears, I believe we have binary eggs for all other dependencies of a standard TurboGears 1.0.x install for Linux (i686, x86_64), Windows (win32) and Mac OS X 10.4 (ppc/i386) and 10.5 (i386) for Python 2.5
