[PATCH] Support for watching changes to additional files for autoreloading

Reported by: jcc Owned by: anonymous
Priority: normal Milestone: 1.x
Component: TurboGears Version: 1.0.4.4
Severity: normal Keywords: autoreload, config, needs feedback
Cc:

Description

This is a small patch to teach TurboGears about additional files to monitor for modifications in a fashion similar to cherrypy.lib.autoreload.ignoreFiles. This patch uses the autoreload.extra_files config variable to set the additional files to monitor.

Nice idea, but it seems a little inconvenient to have to add absolute paths to the config file (though one could use %(top_level_dir)s or %(package_dir)s.

Could you provide a patch for a additional config setting that excepts glob patterns instead? So, for example, you could say:

autoreload.extra_files_pattern = '%(top_level_dir)/locales/*.mo'
