Description

It has been discussed several times that we need a new site. And we agreed it should be after 2.0final therefore I'm making a ticket to track that progress.

Some ideas for the site, which I dug up from an  old mailing list thread:

  • Build a TG pastebin app and integrate it with the site (use  SpammCan or a  TG2 version?)
  • Build a snippets TG app

See the  Pylons website for an example of these two ideas. Other ideas:

  • Build static pages from ReST documents checked into SVN
  • Custom search page, which searches mailing list, wiki, trac, documentation, blogs, subversion.

Another idea:

  • Show feeds for latest posts from planet turbogears, pastes, snippets, check-ins.
