A value of 0 is not output in a CheckBoxList

Reported by: chrisz Owned by:
Priority: normal Milestone: 1.1.1
Component: TurboGears Version: 1.1
Severity: major Keywords: checkboxlist

Description (last modified by chrisz) (diff)

A value of 0 is not output in the value attribute of a CheckBoxList in TG 1.1, though it seems to work with TG 1.0 and RadioButtonLists. You can verify this easily using the widget browser where the "Python" option should have a value of 0.

Turned out that this was a side-effect of my change in r6960 (for #1314). I had used "... and ... or ..." as a workaround for the missing ternary operator in Py 2.4 without considering that the second value can be logically false (in this case, 0). Fixed now together with a regression test in r6968.
