Ticket #339 (closed defect: fixed)

admi18n should ignore SVN files/folders, and .pyo files

Reported by: nerkles Owned by: anonymous
Priority: normal Milestone: 0.9a2
Component: Toolbox Version:
Severity: normal Keywords: i18n svn pyo

When you "collect" files, it picks up everything, including SVN stuff, which there is no reason to i18n-ize. These files also seem to cause the parser to crash. At best, you end up with a zillion checkboxen to uncheck.

Not fixed. or un-fixed. ;)

if you add:

if name.endswith('.pyc'):continue if name.endswith('.pyo'):continue if '/.svn' in dirpath: continue

In the project_files function in i18n/init.py that solves it.

Using "/svn", "/static", etc... comparison for jumping directories won't work in a Windows machine...

To avoid visiting these directories, their name should be deleted from the namelist argument inside the collect_files() function.

I've send a patch for #678 that should also solve this ticket.
