sqlobject hosted on TGs svn

Reported by: florian Owned by: anonymous
Priority: high Milestone: 0.9
Component: SQLObject Version:
Severity: normal Keywords:

Offer Ian Bicking TGs svn repository as a hosting alternative for the constantly unavaiable svn on  http://svn.colorstudy.com/SQLObject/trunk

Added benefit, SQLObject gets a Trac too.

Kevin should be the one to consider this and make the offer to Ian.

I saw Ian (goes by the handle ianbicking) in IRC on #sqlobject. He wouldn't mind moving the repository over to TGs.

Ian just moved the repo to w4py's server, I don't think he'll move it again, so I'm marking this invalid.

Here's the email sent Jan 8:

I moved the svn server over to w4py.org, where svn.pythonpaste.org is also hosted (however, they remain separate repositories). You shouldn't really notice any changes. The old repository is read-only, and when your DNS updates the new repository should work fine and all passwords and whatnot are brought over.

The old repository is at the IP and the new one is at (both are name-based, so the IP alone won't work, but you can use that to see if your DNS is updated).

I'll try to work on moving documentation and putting a proper installation of Commentary up next. (If someone wants Trac, it requires a volunteer for moving the tickets.)

If there are server problems in general, it is a good idea to email (or CC) me directly so I see it more quickly than if it goes to the list.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
