callable widget parmeters are not working

Reported by: jowenn@… Owned by: anonymous
Priority: normal Milestone: 1.0
Component: TG Widgets Version: 0.9a6
Severity: normal Keywords:
Cc:

Description

According to the comments in the widget code it should be possible to pass callables for all parameters. It workes fine for options of MultipleSelectFields?, but if I pass a function to the "default" parameter of a text field I get the output "<function myvalue at 0xb74ef6bc>" instead of the value the function should return. => Function doesn't get called

Automatic calling of parameters works *only* for those listed at the widget's "params" attribute (or one of it's superclasses). "default" is not one of those.

You can see which parameters at this by peeking into the widget's attribute in a python interpreter.
